My Approach

Using tools gathered from my extensive experience in conflict resolution and in the arts, my work is rooted in my four core values of connection, play, courage and growth.

I work responsively and creatively with you to create space to explore what has you or your team get stuck, what your values are, what you’d like to be doing more of and how you can move forward in an aligned and sustainable way.

Connection

I seek to understand before jumping in, I listen deeply to what is said as well as what is not said, I empathise with where with you’re at, I support you to understand yourself and those you might be in opposition with. I connect with myself through a daily meditation and journaling practice.

Play

I create playful spaces for adults to connect to their innate creativity, I support you from a place of non-judgement, I bring lightness and humour into my work, I work seriously in a playful spirit. I have my own regular creative practice involving collage, sculpture and dancing.

Courage

I am bold, I take risks and make mistakes. I sit with what feels uncomfortable and try to be curious about it, I am committed to connecting to my own vulnerability and support those I work with to explore the power of being vulnerable.

Growth

I believe we are all ever evolving with great capacity for transformation. I seek feedback and believe that feedback with permission can be a rich gift. I challenge from a place of non-judgement and believe that we all have innate wisdom within us, sometimes we need support to uncover it.

Katharine's toolbox is full of ways to enable engagement, physically and mentally. She listens without judgement, reflects insights back to the group and allows responsive conversation, while still holding the pre-agreed purpose of the session. I highly value Katharine's work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
